The city of Timmins is asking residents to properly dispose of their Christmas trees once the holiday is over. There will be tree disposal sites set up around the city starting December 27th. Public Works Manager Ken Krcel says the main tree disposal site will be at Hollinger Park. The trees brought to the park will be used as a wind brake for the parks skating oval. A full list of disposal sites can be found on the city’s website. The sites will be open until January 13th.
