Wherever you are in our region tomorrow and Monday, it’s going to be hot.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the entire Hwy. 11 corridor between Timmins and Hearst. It says the 30-degree daytime high temperatures will feel even hotter because of high humidity, and the 18-degree overnight low won’t give us much relief.
At greater risk for the effects of the heat are young children, pregnant women, older adults, anyone with a chronic illness or who works or exercises outdoors.
