At long last, the remediation work on the Hollinger Park is expected to be completed by the end of June.
City project supervisor Gerry Paquette says the contractor is back, finishing up landscaping and a few other odds and ends. Once the forms come in, the central plaza will be poured.
“Obviously this type of work is dependent on weather, but he feels confident that they can meet that goal,” remarks Paquette.
“Once the main contractor has left the area, then the last portion of work on the project is the repaving of the parking lot.”
That will be done when the contractor’s vehicles and equipment are out of the way.
