Country 93.1 is joining the YMCA to help “fill the bus” with kids for summer activities.
We’ll be raising money so kids can participate in day trips and even to sleepaway camp; and raising awareness among parents of what’s available.
Leanne Miners, manager of philanthropy and donor engagement with the Y says that on Friday, May 31st, Tyler Cropley and Shane Button will be helping out.
“I’m going to make them do all sorts of fun competitions all around town,” she says with a laugh, “and raise funds. So we’re looking for businesses to sponsor, we’re looking for people to make donations, you can find out more at fillthebus.ca.
