This could be your last few days to enjoy the snowmobile trails in our region maybe for the entire winter. Northern Corridor Du Nord President Michel Garon says the trails will be rendered unavailable or closed by the OFSC as of Saturday night.
“The Board of Directors of the OFSC decided that due to COVID 19 to render all the trails unavailable as of midnight Saturday, March 21,” Garon said. “They are doing this to limit the spread of the virus.”
Garon says if you go on the trails once they are unavailable or closed then you will be trespassing.
“Some of the trails are on private property or crown land,” he said. “At the end of the day if there is a closed sign posted on the trail and in fact you will be trespassing.”
