Timmins police have charged four males in connection with a home invasion. Police say the four forced their way into the home of a person they know and assaulted the homeowner. During the assault a firearm was produced and then the four ran off. The home invasion took place around 3:00am Thursday and later the same day police had all four in custody. They also recovered the firearm. The four face a slew of charges including uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, using a firearm while committing an offense and assault with a weapon. They are also charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and break and enter to commit an indictable offense. Two of the men are 27 and 25 and the 25-year-old faces an additional charge of pointing a firearm. The other two are 18 and 17.
