First Nations and the provincial government are committing to working together on the environment and shared priorities. The commitment is in a letter signed by Grand Council Chief Pat Madahbee and the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change. Madahbee says there’s a lot to talk about including reviewing joint priorities. The goal between both groups is to meet annually and work on issues like protecting the environment including the Great Lakes.
