Details are few but Timmins fire crews attended a fire at a garage on the corner of Knox Avenue and Brunette Road earlier today.
Officials say the structure was condemned several years ago due to a sinkhole.
Firefighters arrived at 11:15 this morning with the building fully engulfed in flames.
Timmins Deputy Fire Chief Scott Atkinson says the cause of the fire is unknown at this time and the investigation has been turned over to Timmins Police. He says no one was in the building at the time of the fire.
