Schools across the north are closed this morning due to an emergency situation.
The OPP says a threat was made to a Kapuskasing area school at 7 a.m. this morning.
Officials say schools were closed from Temiskaming Shores all the way to Hearst, including Gogama, as a precautionary measure.
The tri-board school transportation website says due to the emergency action taken, all buses will continue their scheduled routes, pick up any students at the stops and bring them to their school, where “staff will bring students to their emergency site”.
