OPP crack down on drug trafficking

Another drug bust has been made this time in Chapleau.

OPP seized marijuana, oxycodone, cash, and drug paraphernalia all totalling almost $2,500.

A man and woman are both charged with two counts of possession, production, and trafficking. The 26-year-old man was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing in Timmins while the 31-year-old woman is scheduled for a court appearance in Chapleau on April 16th.

Crime Stoppers and local police are trying to narrow in on all the drug traffickers in the area.

Crime Stoppers need reliable information to find these traffickers and are asking the public to call them if they see anything suspicious going on in their neighbourhood.

Drug trafficking is a threat the public safety.
