Health Sciences North is announcing a new foundation aimed at improving healthcare for children in the north east.
The NEO Kids Foundation will focus on raising money for children’s services, equipment and research within HSN.
The President of the foundation, Patricia Mills says the foundation’s first priority is the planned child healthcare centre to service families and their children in the north east.
Mills says their first task is to fund raise for NEO kids and anything else that will help paediatric services in the north.
The facility will help families who have to travel long distances for their children’s treatment by building a centre for the entire region.
