City making it easier to get to the polls

City Hall is making it even easier to get out and vote in next Monday’s municipal election.

Out in the far East End, a mobile polling station will be set up for 90 minutes at the Connaught Community Centre between 5:00pm and 6:30pm. It’s for voters in Connaught, Barbers Bay and Hoyle,  who can still vote at the Integrated Emergency Services Building at Northern College.

And a community bus will serve Connaught Hill and parts of Porcupine and South Porcupine that aren’t served by the Route 16 bus. It will be a paratransit vehicle and run every 30 minutes between 10:00am and 6:00pm. Check this link to the list of stops on that route.

And for the entire city, riding a Timmins Transit bus that day is free.
