Timmins is making it easier for tax payers to calculate property taxes. The city has launched a Municipal Property Tax Calculator on their website. You can input you assessed property value, and it will tell you exactly where your tax dollars go.

For example, if you input a residential property value of $100K, it will show your estimated property tax is just over $1,800. That money will go into things like roads, police services, and transit.
