A Timmins based company has won a workplace safety award. Kidd Operations won the President’s Choice Award for occupational health and safety. That award is the highest honour given out by Workplace Safety North.
Eighteen other northern companies were honoured with workplace excellence awards from WSN. That includes Lake Shore Gold Corp in Timmins. President and CEO of WSN Candys Ballanger-Michaud says their members deserve special recognition when they’re committed to making sure every worker goes home safe and healthy.
