Timmins Film Festival goes Nov. 2nd to 5th

The third annual Timmins Film Festival is set for Thursday, November 2nd through Sunday the 5th at Imagine Cinemas.

Timmins Film Society chair Paul Charette says feedback from the first two festivals went into planning this one.  He says the film selection is diverse and includes a French movie with English subtitles, called “Mon Crime”.

The Sunday afternoon feature is the comedy “Theatre Camp”, about a camp for kids interested in musical theatre.

“We’ve found that a lot of people have really enjoyed the comedies,” Charette states. “So we figured you know what, why not end the weekend on a high with a fun comedy to make people laugh?”

Tickets are now available on the Imagine Cinemas website. A wine-and-cheese gala is planned for the Saturday night at the Timmins Museum.

“It’s more of a nice get-together to say thank you for coming out and supporting us. This is something that we can add in as a little bonus.”
