A 20-year-old Toronto man is in Timmins Police custody in connection with two men being shot Sunday afternoon in the Pine St.-Sixth Ave. area.
TPS communications coordinator Marc Depatie says the suspect is charged with two counts of attempted murder. At least one alleged accomplice is being sought.
“The victims are a 22-year-old man from Timmins and a 34-year-old man from Timmins,” Depatie points out. “Both sustained gunshot wounds, but were transported to the area hospital for medical treatment.”
