Enjoy your after-work commute this afternoon. Algonquin Boulevard has reopened between Mountjoy Street and Thériault Boulevard.
That wraps up connecting link reconstruction for this year. It resumes in the spring with the next phase rebuilding Algonquin from Wilcox Street all the way up to Cedar Street.
Detours are gone for now… Timmins Transit was expected to have returned to regular bus stops by late this afternoon… and temporary stop signs and traffic lights have been concealed.
City Hall reminds us, however, that any that are still there and operating are to be obeyed for everyone’s safety.
