Here’s something worth smiling about: All next week, proceeds from selling Tim Hortons Smile Cookies in Timmins and South Porcupine will go to the Costello Community Care Centre.
Ken Ryan is a director of that group, which is named in memory of Father Les Costello.
“It’s a non-profit, non-denomination umbrella group for Lord’s Kitchen, Timmins Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul and St. Martin de Porres” he says.
The baking and decorating are being done by volunteers.
They’ll be on sale from the 19th to the 25th at Tim Hortons in Timmins and South Porcupine for a dollar each. Every dollar goes to the Costello Community Care Centre.
