Who has the best spaghetti sauce in town?
The Kinsmen club will find out on March 8th.
You can drop off a mason jar of your best spaghetti sauce and be judged in the second annual competition.
The competition was born out of pride according to long-standing member of the Kinsmen Club, Ron Lafreniere. He says the idea came about a couple years ago when he and other members of the Kinsmen club were together talking about cooking. Each one of them said they make the best spaghetti sauce. So Lafreniere said put your money where your mouth is.
Last year the club raised about 500 dollars to give to the Lord’s Kitchen.
It’s 10 dollars to get in and that includes the pasta dinner.
Lafreniere has already heard from one woman claiming she has the best sauce in town so he is putting the challenge out there for everyone else.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for the event on March 8th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
