Freedom to Read

The Timmins Library is showcasing banned books.

Books that have been either banned or challenged are on display this week to promote discussion about intellectual freedoms.

This is part of the national Freedom to Read Week.

Feather Maracle Luke from the Reference Department says everyone is entitled to thought, belief, opinion, and expression.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Freedom to Read Week in Canada
