Canada Day this year promises to be the biggest one yet. Full of live music, river cruises, and fireworks, the event is kicking off at Participark at 11 AM. Tourism Timmins says you can park, but it will be limited. There are two lots at the bottom of Commercial Avenue, one at the park, and on street parking.
However to make it easier there is going to be shuttle buses running all day. Pick it up at the Whitney Arena, the Mac, or the parking lot at the corner of Cedar and Third. Algonquin is going to be closed between Normand and Fogg Street from 9:30 PM until midnight for the fireworks.
