An incident in which Timmins Police say a 25-year-old man was pointing a pellet pistol in Schumacher results in several weapons charges against him.

They say that at about 11:30am Thursday, the man was pointing the gun while driving in the area of Aura Lake Road and Father Costello Drive.  An altercation with nearby residents ensued.

Police officers performed a tactical arrest.

The man is in a police jail cell and has a bail hearing in the morning.
