News PHU takes delivery of COVID-19 vaccines SHARE ON: Bob McIntyre, staff Tuesday, Jan. 26th, 2021 COVID-19 vaccines have arrived at the Porcupine Health Unit. While that’s a good thing, it’s not time yet to line up and roll up your sleeve. Medical officer of health Dr. Lianne Catton says the first round will go to residents of long-term care and high-risk retirement homes… as well as First Nations elder care residents. She says not everyone can be immunized at the same time, so we’ll have to remain patient and positive. Catton does not give a timeline on when there will be enough vaccine for the general population.
