There was no room at the inn, and unless you reserve your seat at Covenant United Church for Christmas Eve services, there’ll be no room in the church.
Rev. Bill Jones at Covenant United Church in Timmins says it will have two Christmas Eve services – one at 5:00pm and the other at 7:00pm. That’s one more than most years.
“We’re just having two services though because of the limitation on people, because we can only have 40 people at each service,” says Rev. Jones. “Mainly lessons and some carols and a bit of some prayers and stuff. No communion or anything.”
Seating is on a reserved, first come, first served basis. Call the church office at 705-264-5518 by Tues., Dec. 22 and leave a message. Someone will get back to you to confirm your reservation.
