News Potential exposure to COVID-19 for passengers onboard the Polar Bear Express SHARE ON: Bob McIntyre, staff Tuesday, Nov. 17th, 2020 (flickr.com) COVID-19 took a ride on the Polar Bear Express last Friday, possibly infecting human passengers. The Porcupine Health Unit says some infected people from outside its jurisdiction were onboard Coach 2, for its 5:00pm trip from Moosonee to Cochrane. They’re now back home and in isolation. Anyone sitting in rows 5 to 9 nine is advised to go into immediate self-isolation. Everyone else on that car should self-monitor until next Friday. Whatever those two groups you fit in, the health unit will be in touch.
