A Rainfall Warning is still in effect for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls, as reported by Environment Canada.
“Heavy rain continues today. Rain, at times heavy, will continue today before easing to light rain tonight. Light rain will linger into Thursday giving additional, although lesser amounts. Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 100 mm are expected by this evening over most areas. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.”
