News Over $150M in federal funding last year to region SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Apr. 9th, 2015 Over $150M was invested into the Timmins-James Bay area last fiscal year. MP Charlie Angus says the area is continuing to show economic development, and the federal funding is spread across the riding. “We’ve been seeing year after year now that Timmins-James Bay is one of the top performers in terms of government investment,” says Angus. “Whether it’s FEDNOR, whether it’s infrastructure dollars.” Angus says it’s good, solid investments for the economy and our infrastructure.
