Ivanhoe Lake, Kettle Lakes parks open with limitations for long weekend

Spring fresh air and exercise are available this long weekend, at both Kettle Lakes and Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Parks.

Parks superintendent Nancy Daigle says camping isn’t allowed.  It’s day use only, with limited recreational activities.

“All buildings and facilities including washrooms, water taps, campgrounds, back country campsites, roofed accommodations, playgrounds and beaches continue to be closed,” Daigle outlines.

“We’re just counting on people to be responsible when enjoying the parks and to continue to follow all the public health measures like physical distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19.”

There’s no charge at the gate to get into the parks.
