Potential coronavirus exposure last month at Lord’s Kitchen

Volunteers and patrons at the Lord’s Kitchen are being told there’s a small risk that they were exposed to COVID-19.

Medical officer of health Dr. Lianne Catton has put the word out to anyone who was there at dinner time on March 12th, lunch on the 13th, or dinner on March 20th.

”If you have symptoms currently potentially related to COVID-19, please contact the Porcupine Health Unit or your primary care provide for assessment to see if potential testing is warranted,” she advises. “If you do not currently have symptoms, we are outside of the window for self-isolation, but continue to promote self-monitoring as we do for every community member.  This means to watch for any symptoms potentially related to COVID-19.”

The doctor calls that advice “a very precautious approach”.
