With new business shutdowns ordered as of 11:59 Tuesday night, Timmins Police Chief John Gauthier warns that his force will be watching closely.
He says he’s proud of business owners so far for complying with restrictions.
“As we move forward, if that changes, we will address it. This is not a game and I expect 100% compliance. If there’s any deviation from that compliance, you can expect a policeman or a police member knocking on your door to ask you to close.”
