Long term care home low on toilet paper

Hoarding toilet paper is no laughing matter.  The Walford assisted living facility in Timmins is facing a shortage.  So says administrator Casey Hills.

“There’s no company right now that we can get any delivered,” she reports.  “Everywhere is out of stock.”

“There is a couple places in town, but they’re all limits of one. That doesn’t help me with a 91 capacity of residents.  We use 144 rolls a week.”

Walford is under lockdown as a precaution because of COVID-19.  Hills says you can drop off any toilet paper you can spare at the front door at 750 Tamarck St.  Just ring the bell.

She’s also heard of at least one more long term care home in town in a similar if not worse predicament.
