You can de-mystify that new camera you got for Christmas, this Thursday night at the Timmins Public Library.

Digital Creator Timmins is putting on a free photography workshop for adults 6:00 and 8:00pm.  Program lead Heidi Vandenbroeke says it will cover various photo skills, using a camera or your phone.“They can bring their smartphone with them,” she tells My Timmins Now Dot Com, but we also have three DSLR cameras that are used for workshops.”

“It’s absolutely beginner friendly.  We’ll be going over as much as people are wanting to learn, whether it’s how to use a DSLR camera or how to do some more technical things like play with lighting or use more of the settings on their camera that they already have.”

Vandenbroeke is planning to follow up on January 30th with a workshop on editing your digital photos.

You’re asked to sign up for either workshop in advance online with Digital Creator Timmins.
