School buses for all four school districts in Timmins have been CANCELLED for today (Thursday, November 21st). Schools will remain OPEN.
The cancellations affect all four of Timmins’ school boards:
- Conseil Scolaire Public du Nord-Est de L’Ontario
- District School Board Ontario North East
- Northeastern Catholic District School Board
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique de District des Grandes Rivieres
School buses are cancelled in Timmins, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Gogama, Foleyet, Matheson, Ramore and many surrounding areas due to the snowfall that has been forecasted

This is the 1st time that the school buses have been cancelled for the 2019-2020 school year, due to snow and/or ice conditions.
