The deadline has been extended to next Friday, November 22nd, so you still have time to have your event included in the upcoming Timmins travel guide.
Marnie Lapierre is in charge of it for Tourism Timmins.
“We have continuously included a calendar each year in the travel guide of events that occur in Timmins,” she explains, “and it is open to any of the not-for-profit organizations that host awareness, fundraising or just fun community events.”
The guide is expected to come out in late January or early February.
“Consistently, we’ve been printing 20,000 guides that are shipped out across the province, Canada and actually worldwide,” according to Lapierre, “and I can vouch for that because I’m the one who sends them out.”
