UPDATED AT 7:00pm: Car driver dies in hospital. The 70-year-old man’s name won’t be released until next of kin notified. Timmins Police say further forensic examination of the scene is likely Wednesday morning, resulting in a further road closure.
Timmins Police want to talk to any eyewitnesses to a collision just east of the Bruce Y in South Porcupine, shortly before noon today.
Investigators says an eastbound pick-up truck collided in the lefthand eastbound lane with a car going in the other direction.
The car driver was taken to hospital.
Both vehicles had to be towed away.
