Smooooth: Rae Hill back up to four lanes

The orange cones are gone.  The construction equipment is gone.  The workers are gone.  The 50 km/hr speed limit signs are gone, and traffic is back to four lanes on Rae Hill, just east of Schumacher.

City of Timmins director of public works and engineering Patrick Seguin confirms to My Timmins Dot Com that all the stretch of Highway 101 is permanently open.

In an email, Seguin says “all that is remaining is granular sealing  ( tar substance to seal gravel around guiderail).  This work will likely be a mobile operation such as line painting.”

Enjoy the smooth, uninterrupted ride.
