The city has found a buyer for the former Toyota cold weather testing site on Highway 655 – above asking price.
Tonight, Mayor George Pirie and his eight-member council will vote tonight on whether to go ahead with the sale to Milman Industries of Sudbury.
The property is surplus to the needs of the city… so it was put up for sale a few months ago. It was appraised at $900,000 and attracted six offers. Milman had the highest… at $1.15-million.
Tonight’s regular council meeting begins at 6:00pm.
