Water levels on the Mattagami River continue to be higher than normal, prompting the Timmins Flood Advisory Committee to extend a flood warning.
It will be in effect until at least Monday, May 27th. Low-lying areas along the river are still flooded. and the committee is advising nearby residents to keep a close eye on things.
It says you can still get sandbags from the city, and you should have a household emergency plan in case a flood emergency is declared.
