It’s status quo for the flood situation in Timmins following the weekend.
Porcupine Lake and the Mattagami River remain under a flood warning… and Timmins Police have barricaded a few roads that are under water.
Communications coordinator says the flood advisory committee is watching very closely on the stretch of Norman St. that is closest to the river, Tschupruk Rd., and the low-lying parts of Dalton Rd. and Kraft Creek Rd.
The committee has already met once today and has a second meeting early this evening.
