While people in and around Timmins are dealing with flooding along the Mattagami River and Porcupine Lake, the natural resources and forestry ministry has put people south of the city on alert on Sunday afternoon.
The MNRF says there is a potential for flooding for the next few days around Gogama and Minisinakwa Lake. It is in effect at least until Friday, unless upgraded to a flood warning before then.
