CITY REACHES TENTATIVE DEAL WITH AIRPORT WORKERS

A tentative contract agreement has been reached between the City of Timmins and the union representing the 19 outside workers at the Victor M. Power Airport.

City Hall says agreement was reached based on an offer it made to the Union of Canadian Transportation Employees during mediation three weeks ago.

None of this is official until a union ratification vote.  The city says it’s been told that will take place on Monday.

More details as they become available on this website and Moose FM News at 4:00pm and 5:00pm.
