Budget talks are on the way for Timmins city council. Preliminary numbers have been given out to council members, and presentations will begin over the next couple of weeks. Mayor Steve Black is pushing for a zero percent increase to the operating budget. City staff has provided information on cuts and where to get almost 3-million dollars to balance the expenditure budget.
