Planning for this summer’s Kayak Festival is well on its way, with corporate sponsorships rolling in. Last week, the Kiwanis Club donated over four-thousand dollars. That money will go into funding the kids programs for the two day event. Guy Lamarche from Tourism Timmins says support from the private sector is important for the success of the event.
