Snow Removal Schedule – March 4th to March 8th 2019

Daytime and night-time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from March 4th to March 8th. Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best bet is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.

Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM

From March 4th to March 8th 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing snow removal.

Monday March 4th, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins South: JV Bonhomme, College (Victoria to J.V Bonhomme)
  • Schumacher: Dwyer, Fourth (Vipond to Boundary)

Tuesday March 5th, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Cameron N, Ann (west of Cameron), Vimy (Theriault to Maclean)
  • Schumacher: Vipond (Father Costello to Templeton), Battachio, Grant, Aura Lake, Templeton

Wednesday March 6th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Rea North (Vimy to Jubilee), Waterloo (Vimy to Jubilee)
  • Timmins South: Ogden, First

Thursday March 7th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Schumacher: Boundary, Gold Center
  • Timmins North – Ninth, Drew, Tamarack (Ross to Ninth)

Friday February March 8th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • South Porcupine: Legion (Harold to Quebec), Shamrock, Tisdale
  • Timmins North: Balsam North, Cedar North (Fifth to Ross)

Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM

From March 4th to March 8th, 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.

Monday March 4th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins North: Sixth, Pine North (Fifth to Ross)

Tuesday March 5th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins North: Jubilee (Cedar to College), College (Jubilee to Victoria)

Wednesday March 6th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins South: Wilson, Cameron South

As a reminder, the above plan, or parts of the plan, may be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect or related to mechanical issues. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing operation. Those streets that may not be done will be done on the next available snow removal shift.
