Daytime and Night Time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from February 11th to February 15th. Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best bet is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.
Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM
From February 11th to February 15th 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing snow removal.
Monday February 11th starting at 7:30 AM:
- Timmins South – First, Kimberley, Kirby.
- Timmins/Mountjoy – A second snow removal will be dispatched on short notice as resources become available.
- South Porcupine – Galbraith, McDougall, Glenn, Smith
Tuesday February 12th starting 7:30 AM:
- Timmins North – Laurier, Borden, Floral, Crescent, Lincoln
- Timmins/Mountjoy – A second snow removal will be dispatched on short notice as resources become available.
- South Porcupine – Evans, Warner, Walter Lane, Leighton, Allan
Wednesday February 13th starting at 7:30 AM:
- Timmins South- Columbus, Wende, Bannerman
- Timmins – A second snow removal will be dispatched on short notice as resources become available.
- South Porcupine – Huot, Front
Thursday February 14th starting at 7:30 AM:
- Timmins South – Sterling, Lee, Moneta
- Timmins/Mountjoy – A second snow removal will be dispatched on short notice as resources become available.
- Schumacher – Father Costello, Croatia (Veterans to Battachio), Grant, Boundary, Vipond (Templeton to Father Costello), Les Hall
Friday February 15th starting at 7:30 AM:
- Timmins- Churches and Store Fronts
- Timmins/Mountjoy – A second snow removal will be dispatched on short notice as resources become available.
- Schumacher- Dwyer, Fourth, Aura Lake, Battachio, Lion’s Crest, Hollinger
Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM
From February 10th to February 14th, 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.
Monday February 11th starting 9:30 PM:
- Timmins: Algonquin (655 to Spruce). Spruce (Sixth to Kirby)
Tuesday February 12th starting 9:30 PM:
- Timmins BIA: Cedar (Kirby to Sixth), Balsam (First to Sixth) Second Ave.
Wednesday February 13th starting 9:30 PM:
- Timmins: Algonquin Blvd (Spruce to Mountjoy), Waterloo (Algonquin to Vimy)
