CHRISTMAS WITHOUT A TSO CONCERT? NOT IN THE LAST 40 YEARS

A Timmins tradition is back this year, when the Timmins Symphony Orchestra performs its annual Christmas concert.

This year’s performance is next Saturday, December 15th at the Charles Fournier Auditorium.

TSO music director Josh Wood says the orchestra will be joined by its own chorus… a children’s choir from Don Bosco, Centennial and Earle Miller schools… and Take Two Theatre performing the Hans Christian Andersen classic, “The Little Match Girl”.

“Our featured artist for the performance is Kate Promane, who actually lives here in Timmins,” he points out, “and she’s a really incredible singer, so she’s going to be headlining throughout the evening.”

Tickets are on sale at the Timmins Museum. Wood has a caveat for you, if you’re planning to just pay at the door.

“This is traditionally one of our best selling concerts.  So sometimes there aren’t necessarily tickets left at the door, so it’s best to get them early.”
