Early this morning, it was announced that the Canadian Union of Postal Workers in Timmins (CUPW 624) would be going on strike as of 4:30am EST.

Canada Post says that it will continue the rotating strikes until new contract deals are in place.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers, including local CUPW 624, are looking for improvements in overtime pay, gender equality, as well as health and safety measures.
