The Ontario Trillium Foundation has announced new investment into non profits across Ontario. 14 grants will be going into the North East, with the region will be getting just over one-million dollars. Various projects and non profits will get funding, with 15-thousand dollars coming to Timmins. That money will go into installing a permanent water source at the two community gardens. That will help ensure the gardens can be sustainable, and to support the building of local and sustainable food systems.
