NDP Mine Critic slams Liberal’s over the Ring of Fire

The NDP Critic for Northern Development and Mines is calling out the Liberal government for their lack of action on the Ring of Fire. Mike Mantha says the government has failed to come up with a plan to advance the chromite project.

Mantha says Cliffs Natural Resources, who spent five hundred and fifty million on the chromite project, is calling the development a lost cause. 

Mike Mantha says the Liberal government is failing to work with First Nations, and lost its most important investor, Cliffs Natural Resources. 

Mantha says a development board that was supposed to include partners in industry and First Nations was promised, but nothing has been done.
