A historic deal has been signed between Gold Corp and four First Nations communities. The deal has been five years in the making, and will pave the way for employment and business opportunities. The Resource Development Agreement will have both parties’ respect and recognize the others interests, and will keep Gold Corp’s commitment for environmental protection. The First Nations youth will also have scholarships and bursaries made available to them.
The four communities are Mattagami First Nation, Wahgoshig First Nation, Matachewan First Nation and Flying Post First Nation.
